The Spartan offense swung their way past USF Tuesday, 10-0. |
SJSU beat USF 10-0 on Tuesday, avenging a loss by the same score earlier in the season to the Dons.
Johnny Melero got the start and allowed just one hit in four innings before giving way to D.J. Slaton and John Austin who completed the shutout.
Senior Outfielder Jason Martin had three hits for SJSU, as did freshman second baseman Jacob Valdez who also stole a base.
Martin became SJSU's all-time hit leader just more than a week ago in a game against UC Santa Barbara.
